This is a very detailed list, of course there are places that are not covered in this list and may make one get to see beautiful places, but according to many many travellers both national and International these places are generally covered almost every time one visits. Infact, many Delhiites visit these places regularly. Therefore, we recommend these places as MUST visit places in Delhi, India - we have tried to cover every requirement  - Picturesque, stylisation, traditional Indian, Contemporary, Architectural, Historical India.

    2. Bangla Sahib

One of the most known temples in sikhs - SIKH TEMPLE , beautiful and peaceful. 

This place has a big lake, every gurudwara ( temple ) has a water body.




  3. Hanuman Mandir

The place is full of monkeys and beggars, this is the hidden India - a perfect picture to see rural India.



  4. Janpath

A free of all brand export surplus flee market in the heart of Delhi, you will never find this market empty - from street shops to street food - this place is crazy. Janpath is every famous for many reasons in India



5. India Gate

Build in the memory of martyred soldiers in the 70s war with our neighbours, India gate is a tall monument which has been inscribed with names of 20,000 soldiers that died in that war.


The place is surrounded by trees and parks, this is the greenest area of Delhi, India

6. Rashtrapati Bhawan

Right opposite India gate with a wide road gap of 2 kms, this is the residence of the President of India , technically he is selected and not elected by the government. Beautiful and big, state of the art architecture , made during the colonial rule of the British.




7. Lodhi Garden

The most beautiful gardens of Delhi, there is no place to walk , stroll and see everything to do with Mughal architecture in India, touted as the lungs of Delhi, Lodhi garden has more than 18,000 different variety of trees, with tombs and mughal architecture, this place is beautiful and must must visit in not just Delhi but India





8. Khan  Market


 The expats market, Khan market is the International market with some of the coolest restaurants, cookie,pastry shops and coffee shops of Delhi. Do not miss this for anything, Cafe Turtle and Good Earth cafe are must visit. For lunch no one beats big chill at Khan Market.




9. India Habitat Centre

A cultural and festive destination - for art and theatre lovers, Indua habitat centre has its own charm, righ opposite Lodhi garden, Delhi India



10. Safdurjung Tomb

Walking distance from Lodhi gardens, this is a  tomb of a famous king and queen from the medieval century, has a huge building covered with flowers all around. This area is one of the most expensive property areas of Delhi - Jor Bagh, Amrita shergill marg. Super green and beautiful.


11. Delhi Haat

Almost 20-25 states have small stores, shops and restaurants here, Get tour de India here at a very nominal charge. Hold a view to the diverse cultures of India. Must visit and is very near safdurjung tomb

17. Akshardham Temple

18. Sarojini Nagar Market

Another flee market with export surplus from around the world. This is much much bigger than janpath, connaught place. Infact this is the full movie and janpath just the trailer. Had huge variety and can cater to any buying requirement. Situated in diplomat area of Delhi, very near chankyapuri, this is must visit for tropical cloth buying spree for everyone visiting India.
