Sikkimese women raped in Delhi, Doctor involved

An AIIMS doctor and four others raped a Sikkimese women in New Delhi, India. Sikkim, North East State of India, has people who are generally not treated well but many sections of the Indian diaspora. Delhi keeps getting such brutal instances of rape that leads to re-emergence of the image formed by people of India and around the world of being Rape Capital of India.

Sikkimese women, whose husband works in the Rajasthan Regiment was trafficked to Delhi on pretext of landing a job in a beauty parlour. Police have arrested the doctor whose working in Neurologist centre of AIIMS, it is believed that the said doctor was supposed to be married in two months.

The doctor had been living in a rented accommodation in Haus Khas Area of New Delhi, which is also famous for it new trendy place called Haus khas village.

The incident was reported by an auto rickshaw driver who called the police stating that the woman was crying and stating that she had been raped to the driver. This happened 6 am in the morning.

Police action after the news was swift and fast, but the question is whether law would be as fast as the police were in this case and would the accused be taken to its correct judgement at the earliest. We hope the courts reach the judgement at the earliest so that other notorious characters in Delhi can pay close heed to such execution and be forewarned of doing any such activity in anywhere in India, specially in places where execution and judiciary take their own time to reach a conclusion.

Do not use a auto rickshaw late alone when travelling late at night or early morning. Women should always be vary of villagers working in Delhi or any other metropolitan city in India.

Another Japanese Woman raped in India - This time in Jaipur, Rajasthan

India is losing its sheen, its respect and any advantage of being a good, safe civilisation. The problem that India is facing nowadays is that our try colours have started to come out under display.

A 20 year old Japanese woman traveling to India has been allegedly raped by a local rajasthani man. He befriended her on the context of shooing her around and then raped her in a secluded area of near Jaipur.

The police is taking all possible steps to nab the rapist and still has been unable to find any information about the person. The police only knows the name of the person involved.

A key to note here is that the man was a local, drove around in his bike and spoke Japanese. These are clear signs of trouble. Any local driving around on a bike purposely trying to become friends with a foreigner means that who can easily discount this person forever. Such people will be trouble. Additionally he knew Japanese, this could also mean that he was involved in other unreported cases.

Every foreigner needs to realise that the local population that hardly earns anything in India, find the concept of an white skinned women very attractive and as a masculine victory of some type. This is an incorrect patriarchal construct and one needs to change the attitude. it might take years. Till then stay away from such people.

These are recommended precautions for solo foreign travellers to India.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING:-

1)  Being Friendly with locals who are not very educated - you will figure this out from the conversation.

2) Bike and House are NO NO

3) Alcohol is another NO NO

4) Try and avoid meeting a local alone. Let someone you know see him. This instills fear.
